ConnectWell Prohibited Use Summary

Overview

The ConnectWell internet service is intended for personal, educational, and lawful household use. You are welcome to use the service for online learning, communication, and daily digital needs — as long as the use does not violate the terms outlined below or any applicable laws.

Prohibited Activities

ConnectWell service must not be used for:

  • Reselling or redistributing the hotspot device or internet connection
  • Using VPNs, proxies, or masking tools to bypass network restrictions or disguise usage
  • Torrenting, peer-to-peer file sharing, or illegal downloading of copyrighted material
  • Hosting servers or operating commercial services on the network
  • Tampering with, unlocking, or reprogramming the hotspot device
  • Using the service in ways that violate local, state, or federal law
  • Any activity that causes excessive bandwidth consumption that disrupts service for others
    (We define this as sustained high-volume usage unrelated to learning or household activity)

What’s Allowed

To be clear — the following are allowed:

✔️ Streaming educational content (e.g., YouTube tutorials, online classes)

✔️ Email, web browsing, and family communications

✔️ Accessing healthcare, government, or social service portals

✔️ Streaming entertainment in moderation (e.g., for downtime or shared family use)

✔️ Light gaming or app use that doesn't interfere with normal service for others

Violations May Result In:

  • Temporary or permanent suspension of service
  • Request to return the device
  • Loss of eligibility for ConnectWell or other Love Well Spent programs
  • Potential billing for unreturned equipment
