350+

families are currently on our Digital Access Grant waitlist — your gift moves us closer to clearing it.

Love Well Spent started with one moment.

In 2018, we received a donation of 50 laptops at the same time we saw a Facebook post from a homeschool mom in a domestic violence situation who needed a computer to survive. The match was obvious. The harder question — who else? — became the Digital Access Grant program.

Seven years later, we've placed devices in homes across the country, partnered with the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, Computers4People, and built a waitlist of 350+ families ready to receive support. We're a lean operation funded entirely by individual donors, in-kind partners, and the families who believe in this work.

Your gift is what closes the gap between demand and delivery.

Make it monthly — your gift goes further

A recurring monthly gift sustains a family's connectivity over time. Even small monthly gifts add up to lasting impact.

where your donation is needed most

We have families on the waitlist in nearly every state. This map shows the current concentration of homeschool students waiting for devices.

real families. real situations. real impact.

Since 2023, Love Well Spent has served homeschool families across 18 states — most navigating barriers that don't show up in policy briefs but define daily life.

Among the families we've served:

A single mother caring for a child placed with her by child welfare, navigating new financial pressure while building a learning environment for a child who needed stability

A widowed mom homeschooling seven children on Social Security survivor benefits, with no extended family support

A multigenerational caregiver raising her son with ADHD while caring for in-laws with dementia, on a household income of less than $1,000/month

A family whose father had a heart attack and double bypass surgery, recovering financially while keeping their daughter's homeschool routine intact

A homeschool group leader serving 73 students in rural Alabama, where corporate digital-equity programs hadn't yet reached

Foster and adoptive parents building homeschool routines for children whose lives, in their own words, had been about surviving rather than thriving

Single parents of children with autism, dyslexia, and learning differences building learning environments tailored to their child's actual needs
